Back in 1999, Paul Johnson‘s original cut topped the Billboard Hot Dance/Club chart and posed within the top 10 in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. In other words, it was a certified house anthem and still is nearly 20 years later.

And, for our purposes, Gettoblaster who have been making a name for themselves with jackin’ house beats as they bring dance music back to the basics. 
With Paul Johnson’s history of being one of the innovators out of Chicago, Gettoblaster are elated to pay homage to a legend. The guys behind the project, Paul Anthony and Zach Bletz, remember when “Get Get Down” first hit the scene — “You couldn’t go anywhere and not hear that song.”
