Fans are outraged at Wireless Festival for keeping DJ Khaled as a headliner on the lineup even after it was known he wouldn’t be able to make it.
While the music festival was in full effect, DJ Khaled was chilling in a pool somewhere tropical, “Still on vacation!!!!!!!!” So, it was beyond suspicious to his following when the following tweet was sent out by festival organizers.

Wireless Festival soon followed up with the real explanation, which still raises a lot of questions. A few months? Tried to make it work? Wasn’t possible? On the upside, at least now it seems Wireless Festival is being honest.
We take responsibility for not telling fans sooner and want all Khaled’s fans in UK to know he truly looks forward to coming to UK to perform soon.

Some fans are demanding refunds for the misleading advertisements, which was likely a violation of the law. DJ Khaled was a major key for many planning on attending the music festival and organizers should have been straight up when they found out he couldn’t commit months before.
It wasn’t like they were totally ripped off, though. Drake showed up in DJ Khaled’s place to perform some of his tracks from Scorpion for the very fist time on stage. It was a win, win situation.

The rest of Wireless Festival went on as planned over July 6 – 8 in Finsbury Park, London. Acts that did make it out included Stormzy, Migos, J. Cole, Post Malone, Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert and so many more.
