Fans Could Soon Be Ordering Pizza From Steve Aoki

Paul Oakenfold has tequila. Richie Hawtin has sake. Skrillex is opening up a new taco joint. And now it seems that fans will soon be able to order pizza from Steve Aoki as he prepares to open up his new restaurant, Pizzaoki.

There’s no end to the kind of extracurricular endeavors that DJs can participate in their spare time, and with Aoki’s culinary history, getting into the food business is a no brainer.

Steve’s father, Hiroaki Aoki, is famously the founder of Japanese cuisine restaurant chain Benihana. Though Steve has worked hard to forge his own path, it seems that his destiny will be forever intertwined with his father’s.

The #pizzaoki hashtag on Instagram is already quite prevalent with 30 posts since the beginning of May, and eleven posts from the @pizzaoki account itself. The Pizzaoki website is still under construction, but Postmates lists the address for the restaurant in the 1800 block of Washington Blvd in Los Angeles, near University of Southern California.

As soon as we find out this place is open, our readers will be the first to know.
