Avicii‘s music is about to take on new life, as Creamfields is set to hold a very special performance from the 40-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra as they play out his greatest dance hits like never before.
The iconic venue announced the tribute set as part of its signature music festival, which takes place over August 23 – 26. The lineup boasts an insane amount of talent including Alesso, The Chainsmokers, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Virtual Self, Tiësto, Eric Prydz, Major Lazer — we could go on and on. And, this time around, Avicii will be there in spirit.
While Creamfields doesn’t come out and say which artist the Kaleidoscope Orchestra will be honoring, all signs point to the late producer. In his short time with us, Avicii performed at Creamfields multiple times and touched many artists seen on this year’s lineup.
In a social media post, the festival reveals: Creamfields presents a very special debut performance from the 40 piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra, delivering an unmissable set featuring some of the biggest dance tracks like you’ve never heard them before including a special homage to honour one of dance music’s biggest talents.
