Fresh off an appearance at Spring Awakening Music Festival earlier this month, electronic dance music pioneer Nicky Romero has just released his newest track, “Duality.” An anthemic progressive house tune, it’s sure to be played all around the festival circuit this summer. The track brings back the nostalgia from those glorious progressive houses tunes helped start Nicky’s career.
The track opens with some lovely guitar string plucks before the drums and beat kick in. After a thorough festival-style build-up, the track drops into all it’s progressive house glory with melodic synths accompanied by all kinds of production flairs. Even more acoustic elements are added the second time around as more guitar strums and piano notes are played over the original intro. The song has all the makings of a summer festival anthem.
Nicky will be touring the European festival circuit this summer including appearances at both weekends of Tomorrowland and Creamfields. He’ll be making one North American stop in Vancouver in August.
