XXXTentacion fans hoping to see him one last time before he’s laid to rest will have that opportunity. The rapper’s camp has confirmed a public memorial service will take place with an open casket.
Born Jahseh Onfroy, XXX was gunned down in an apparent robbery in South Florida last week. One person has been arrested in connection with the crime.
Although XXX’s had a history of violence himself, members of his passionate and loyal fanbase claim he was trying to change and have been plagued with devastation ever since. Maybe this will provide the closure that some of them need to move forward. 
A public viewing like this one is a little concerning — as an unofficial memorial for the artist in LA resulted in a near riot in the streets. Hopefully this will be a peaceful event.
