Meet Bunkbot… A newly introduced, forward-thinking communication system by Bunk Police to keep you and your friends safe and informed at music festivals.
Described as a “deceptively simple but incredibly powerful communication tool,” Bunk Police are taking their drug testing and awareness strategy to the next level. The Bunkbot texting system allows you to get festival-specific information from the harm reduction organization in real time, and warns people if dangerous substances have been found on site.
“It is our hope that this will allow the word to spread quickly and hopefully stop any large-scale overdose event that may be occurring,” Bunk Police state on their website. 
All you have to do to get started is text “bunk” to 555-888. Then, follow an event you’re interested in attending (i.e. ELECTRIC FOREST – text “forest18”). After you follow an event, a text will be sent whenever Bunk Police do the following…
1) set up and start distributing kits on site
2) are shut down by security and are re-opening elsewhere
3) find a particularly dangerous substance (like fentanyl)
