Yellow Claw Drop Their Third Album, “New Blood”

yellow claw yellow claw

It’s only been a year since Yellow Claw released their last album Los Amsterdam, but they’re already back with their third album New Blood, and it’s clearly a new Yellow Claw from what we’ve known.

New Blood features a whole host of new collaborations with Yellow Claw, including a new DJ Snake collab, as well as collaborations with Moksi, ASAP Ferg, San Holo and more. It’s perhaps important to note that New Blood once again features an entire album full of collaborations, following Los Amsterdam, which featured the same, different than their debut album Blood For Mercy.

Regardless, Yellow Claw’s new album presents a different side of the Dutch duo than we’ve previously seen. There’s a healthy combination of hype versus mellow tracks that give the album a wide range of depth and variety that resembles Blood For Mercy more closely than their second album.

A generous helping of featured vocalists helps in that regard, versus producers, as found in Los Amsterdam.

It’s still a far cry from the Amsterdam Trap Music that Yellow Claw have released over the years, but it’s still enjoyable.

It’s all available to stream below – check it out.
