Hardwell has never shied away from the harder styles of dance music, especially after giving such intense acclaim to Atmozfears at ADE two years ago. His new track with Wildstylez, “Shine A Light,” is incredibly anthemic while still retaining the characteristic kick that makes hardstyle so special.
Vocals from KiFi are absolutely instrumental in making this track what it is; it’s melodic and addictive, no doubt calling upon whatever crowd it finds to sing along with the bright message found within the song’s lyrics. At the end of the day, though, it’s still a hardstyle track, and so the usual anthemic synths in the build up and the regular kicks are on full display.
