I’ve never been a huge fan of hip hop or rap, beyond what I end up hearing at festivals, but even I can tell that this WILDLYF remix of A$AP Ferg does the original justice.
It’s as hard as any track you’d hear at the bass stage of a festival, but with the melody to boot. All of the crunchy bass and textured synths do well to augment the already hype vocals of Ferg. And if you thought the first drop was good, the second ups the ante by a good amount.
I wouldn’t be surprised to hear this track getting rinsed out a fair amount at festivals the rest of the year. Check out WILDLYF’s remix of A$AP Ferg’s “Plain Jane” below.
