Not to be confused with Chime, CHIMES are a duo from the UK who play around with the more whimsical than the heavy. Their new single “Find Suki” is a brilliant example of this. Playful wind instruments blend with a bouncy, percussive rhythm that’s easy to dance to and easy to remember.
The vocals in the bridge, and perhaps the bridge itself, could stand to be a little more energetic. But in contrast with the almost overly energetic drop, it works as a perfect juxtaposition.
