Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old woman who passed away at a Firefly Music Festival campsite early Sunday morning.
The Philadelphia resident Caroline Friedman was reportedly found unresponsive in Camping Lot 18 at Dover International Speedway around 6:30 a.m. She was treated on site by medical staff, but unfortunately that wasn’t enough to revive her. At 6:55 a.m. she was pronounced dead.
Little is known at this point. Dover police aren’t sure what caused her death, but autopsy and toxicology results will follow. There doesn’t seem to be any indications of foul play.
