Fans hoping to see The Chainsmokers, SZA, Nas and more this Fall at Lost Lake Festival in Phoenix are about to get let down hard. The music festival has announced its cancelation, although it’s not really clear why.
According to a statement, “Superfly has made the difficult decision to cancel Lost Lake Festival.”
The organizers continue, “We came to Phoenix because we were inspired by the amazing emerging arts, culture and food scene of the city, and wanted to capture this creative force with a festival as unique as the community. We’re honored by how everyone came together to help us produce a beautiful event last year and are deeply grateful for the support of the artists, fans and the City of Phoenix.” 
The statement goes on about the organizers’ plans to donate to several non-profits. Lost Lake music festival also notes that all ticket purchases will be automatically refunded in full, including processing fees within 7-10 business days from this announcement. But not a word as to why Lost Lake is no longer happening.
Last year’s Lost Lake music festival sounded like a success, with a lineup which included The Killers, The Roots, Chance the Rapper, Major Lazer, Ludacris, HAIM, Run the Jewels, Pixies, Danny Brown, Carla Morrison, Luna Aura, Juanes, Lil Jon, Lil Yachty, Snakeships, Futuristic, Odesza, Tritonal, and more. It was fun while it lasted.
RIP, Lost Lake.
