Thoreau’s brave no foray into hip hop is moving forward and we’re all about it. Producing, writing and singing on all his own work now, even his new single “In For” still carries a bit of electronic influence along with it.
Last time we heard from Thoreau was April’s “Escape Plan,” which Your EDM premiered. We called it a “deeply introspective” track that alluded to his transition from EDM to hip hop, and we’re definitely happy with the end result.
“In For” is a mellow and laid back that’s just as introspective as its previous counterpart. It’s about never feeling good enough, and always trying to be better, something we’re sure a lot of artists can empathize with.
