Listen to Major Lazer’s Unexpected Collab with Rudimental, Anne-Marie and Mr. Eazi

Major Lazer will collaborate with just about anyone. We appreciate their risk-taking, as it pays off most of the time. The group’s latest, unexpected collaboration is with UK dance group Rudimental. Plus, vocalists Anne-Marie and Mr. Eazi pop in to feature.

“Let Me Live” is an upcoming single off Rudimental’s upcoming album Toast to Our Differences. It’s reggae-inspired, full of steel drums and a laidback beat. Then, the drop takes the track to a more EDM-flavored direction. We guess Major Lazer, particularly Diplo, played a big role in the drop’s design, and while it almost sounds out of place, it somehow works. The track features vocals from Anne-Marie and Mr. Eazi; their contributions do the job, but they’re nothing amazing.

We applaud both Major Lazer and Rudimental for stepping out of their comfort zones. Listen to “Let Me Live” below:
