Yes, you read that headline correctly: a woman got her head stuck in a car’s tailpipe at a country music festival.
The woman’s plight has been documented with a five-second Facebook video that has since gone viral. In the video, rescuers ready a power saw to free the woman. The ordeal occurred during the Winstock Country Music Festival in Winstead, Minnesota.
Rescuers freed the woman, but the McLeod County Sheriff’s Department cited her for underage drinking. So, it looks like alcohol inspired this woman’s pipedream (pardon the pun). Apparently she successfully stuck (and removed) her head in a tailpipe earlier in the day, but her second attempt wasn’t so lucky. It’s unclear if she managed to see sets from festival acts such as Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley.
The viral video is currently at nearly 3 million views and counting. Even though it’s only five seconds, it’s worth a rewatch…or several.
