It was revealed yesterday that Dash Berlin would be unable to fulfill his set at Spring Awakening for health reasons, the second such cancellation in as many days. SAMF told fans that they could expect a replacement announcement today, and it’s finally here and well worth the wait.
Replacing Dash Berlin at Spring Awakening will be Zedd!
He will already be in Chicago for Nickelodeon’s Slime Fest, with no immediate tour commitments, so it’s the perfect happy coincidence. 
While we still worry about Dash’s health, we should be excited that Zedd is taking over his slot. Catch him on the Solstice stage on Sunday at 6:30pm for a rare early show! He hasn’t played Spring Awakening since 2015, so this will be a welcome reprise.
