The Do LaB stage at Coachella doubled down at surprise sets this year. ZHU‘s surprise Blacklizt set from weekend one stood out as a favorite; now, you can listen to it in full.
The Do LaB SoundCloud posted ZHU’s full surprise set yesterday, much to our delight. The set runs a little more than 1.5 hours, and marks a departure from ZHU’s usual sound. ZHU played house and techno for most of the set before finishing with traditional cuts. The set’s inspiration comes from ZHU’s Blacklizt parties, where attendees must wear black and ZHU plays deeper music.
The Do LaB stage was chock full of surprise sets this year. Weekend one had The Black Madonna b2b Jackmaster, RL Grime, Ekali, The Martinez Brothers and Marques Wyatt b2b Doc Martin. Weekend two had TOKiMONSTA, Mija, MK b2b Will Clarke, Claude VonStroke, Bedouin and Bonobo. Perhaps the Do LaB will upload more of those sets in the future.
