RIOT returns to Monstercat for the third time with a new track that aims to flip bass music on its head.
“The Mob” is a pretty clear-cut story of a mob gone awry, and the two’s mission to keep it under control. However, buried within the track is a beautiful orchestral interlude that alludes to hope, and sounds very much like a performance program from Tomorrowland. It might seem a little out of place at first, but it definitely grows on you.
Bookending the interlude are two massive dubstep drops, the second outdoing the first as is only customary.
“The Mob” is definitely entering new territory for RIOT, but it seems like one they’re already accustomed to. Check it out below via Monstercat!
