Ultra Music Festival has announced its plan to rock a new wristband ticketing system for 2019!
There has always been a love/hate relationship for the holographic lanyard-style tickets Ultra has passed out over the years. On one hand, the design is always very aesthetically pleasing, but on the other hand festival attendees always run the risk of losing the loose ticket. It looks like more of a souvenir than an actual festival pass — not the most practical method.
Now, lost or stolen tickets shouldn’t be a problem moving forward, as Ultra is proudly introducing wristbands for next year’s signature event in Miami. Plus, the entry lines should be streamlined, because no more fishing around for your festival pass.
Ultra’s official announcement reads:
Beginning this year, tickets for Ultra Music Festival will be loaded onto special non-removable, non-transferable wristbands for your convenience and security. Each day, attendees will scan their wristbands at the festival gates for entry.
Yasss! This seems like a simple change, but it’s really a game changer for Ultra Music Festival.
If you want to secure your GA or VIP pass to Ultra 2019 at the best possible price, please note the limited ticket sale ends tonight at 11:59 pm ET. Get yours here: UltraMusicFestival.com/tickets.
