After a series of stellar original releases, Whethan switches it up a little bit drops a bootleg of one of his favorite songs by Clairo, “Pretty Girl.”
Too often, producers are forced by labels and management to put out a very specific selection of songs, but often times that can stifle creativity and make for underwhelming releases. Tracks like this are examples of producers letting loose a different side of their production ability and showing love to artists they admire.
Whethan plays with a few different vibes in this flip of “Pretty Girl,” from the whimsical to the more serious, but they’re all wildly genuine and fun. Check it out below.
