Bronze Whale continues to impress with each and every release, even after slightly changing their style. Their newest cut, “Gold Grain” with Jet Horns, is a soft and quaint piece that entices you to close your eyes and sway.
As with most of Bronze Whale’s past releases, each little embellishment or synth stab comes with specific intent, pushing a vibe or a rhythm shift. Jet Horns joins Bronze Whale’s Benny Alley on the vocals for “Gold Grain,” mixing their soft voice and falsetto impressions wonderfully to work with the more reticent production.
