Whether you were at Movement Music Festival in Detroit, Michigan, Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois, or at the Indianapolis 500 in Indiana — this weekend was a hot one! So it’s no wonder deadmau5 ran into some serious DJ problems when he jumped behind the decks for the most epic event at the famous motor speedway.
Near the beginning of his set, his laptop began to overheat and it completely shut down. With it being a deadmau5 show, it wasn’t at all surprising that things got a little complicated. Technical difficulties have never seemed to trip the producer up too much.
This one he handled with much more subtle humor than usual, “Yeah, this is awkward.”
“I gotta let this thing cool down for a sec. Hi YouTube.”
He went onto have a phenomenal set, so other than this unfortunate pause, it was no big deal. Sometimes things get complicated, whether it be pouring rain or blistering heat.
Oh man, what a shaky start… BUT A DAMN STONG FINISH!!! Once again, thank you all for your patience. That 100f sun be out there frying cpus! You guys are awesome Indy!

And props to you for the patience. Best we can do in such circumstances… find a solution and figure shit out! Glad everything worked in the end 🙂 https://t.co/DVc1aYvCGI

Good. I’m glad his laptop fried. Karma comes back to bite you at the most inopportune times lol.
