Tragedy has stricken at Mutiny Festival in the UK this weekend, after an apparent strong batch or bad batch of drugs has resulted in the death of two attendees.
An 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man sadly passed after being transported to Queen Alexandra Hospital. Police did not link the two deaths and they are being treated as separate incidents.
According to a report from independent.ie, one more person is in critical condition, and a total of 15 people from the festival were taken to the hospital on night one. In turn, organizers of the festival issued a warning of “high strength or bad batch” of drugs that may have been circulating the festival.
That’s not all… After talks with the police and out of respect for the two young people who lost their lives, Mutinyhas decided to cancel today’s portion of the festival. The move is to safeguard the welfare of the rest of the event’s visitors this weekend.
Mutiny has communicated this information on social media and an official statement is offered up on www.mutinyfestivals.co.uk.
