EDC Las Vegas is a music haven for its attendees, the real headliners. And for the artists, it’s one of the best places in the world to play and ideal for testing out new music. Fresh into festival season, our ears are ready and the new music pickings are ripe.
We’ve already heard quite a few of the most-played out songs from EDC Las Vegas this year. At number 1, Gammer‘s “The Drop” proves it has some staying power. “God’s Plan” by Drake takes the number 5 spot, followed by Slushii‘s “Level Up” at number 6. Skrillex makes an appearance with his “Humble” remix, one of the most popular EDM tracks in recent history.
The new one from Space Laces, “Torque,” was thrown down enough to earn it 2nd place. Other new and new-ish ones making the list include YOOKiE‘s “Another Dimension” remix, 4B & TEEZ‘s “Whistle,” and KAYZO‘s remix for Papa Roach‘s “Last Resort.” Plus, viral smash “This Is America” by Childish Gambino had a huge presence at the music festival, including JOYRYDE‘s bass house remix of the track.
Perhaps most telling, Avicii‘s iconic hit “Levels” made a comeback, following the producer’s unexpected passing. As the track played out at EDC Las Vegas this year, it was always accompanied with much love and respect for the missed legend. Skrillex’s signature “Levels” remix comes in at the number 7 spot.
