Facebook and Instagram are about to change the game with a new feature that allows users to connect with third party apps like Spotify and SoundCloud! Soon enough, followers and friends will be able to see exactly what you’re listening to with newly introduced tags.
Furthermore, Spotify and Instagram have exclusively partnered up to make sharing music more seamless than ever. The function, accessible via Spotify’s “share” menu, will allow users to show off what they’re listening to through Instagram’s story feature or through direct messaging.
The Instagram app will also have cover art stickers for the song, album, artist, or playlist being shared through Spotify. So, you can get creative with shares as well. This is going to be an especially fun way for artists and fans to connect and share music directly through the platform.
Here are the easy steps to follow:
- Select a song and make sure the album cover is in view
- Tap the three dots
- Choose “share” from the menu
- Share via Instagram!
Starting May 1, the update is expected to be available and we seriously can’t wait.
