Paul van Dyk Brings From Then On Tour to Academy LA [Event Review]

It was a blissful night as legendary trance producer/DJ Paul van Dyk brought his From Then On tour to Los Angeles’s newest nightclub, Academy, last weekend. Paul released From Then On, his eighth full length studio album, late last year, and now North American audiences are getting treated to the full live experience. The album is 90 minutes of pure distilled progressive and uplifting trance and the tracks’ energy shined through Academy’s brand new LED screens and speaker system. Paul himself seemed absolutely invigorated as he played out the album and other trance classics. Check out this clip of Paul’s sensational set at Academy LA below.

Paul has described From Then On as one of his most personal projects and a throwback to his roots. Paul made his full return to touring last year after falling off a stage in 2016 and sustaining serious injuries. From Then On was also his first major release after that. The songs and vibe of the album and performance fully reflect the joy and exuberance of someone happy to be living their best life. Make sure to catch Paul van Dyk’s From Then On tour as he continues to hit the road in May and June. Upcoming stops include Houston, Boston, DC, Toronto and an appearance at EDC Las Vegas.

Celebrate life with Paul van Dyk’s latest release From Then On out now.
