It must feel like a massive weight lifted as an artist when you’re finally able to release a song you’ve been working on for literal years… after two years, JINCO has finally released “Hitch” with Valentine.
As he explains in his SoundCloud description, he and Valentine met through mutual friends and have been working on this song for a number of years before its eventual release today. It’s hard to even really call this track “EDM” as it pushes elements of jazz and classical in between all the artificial synths and percussion.
Valentine’s lightly raspy voice meshes perfectly with the powerful message of the song, even as it switches gears and drops into a wonderful, minimal trap section. The variety of the track ends up being one of its best qualities.
