Mellogang, get ready! Ya boy has another one with Juicy J, featuring James Arthur, coming this Friday with “You Can Cry.”
Marshmello just teased the new single via socials, which shares a softer (pun intended) side of the DJ/producer. We’re used to hearing that happy, bubbly future bass from Mello, but he’s proven time and time again that he can branch out in ways we’ve never heard before. Just a few seconds in and we can already tell this track is no exception.
“You Can Cry” rocks a slow, sentimental beat. Vocals by James Arthur linger just long enough to make you teary-eyed before Juicy J comes in to drop some ridiculously smooth bars. Listen to me, close your eyes baby, picture this: Sunset, on the ocean that’s Pacific — with those lines, he sets the scene for the new single. 
“You Can Cry” promises that everything is going to be alright. Although you might shed some tears to this one, Marshmello is sticking with his typical feel-good theme after all. Listen to the teaser here.
