Hunter Siegel has been in the game for quite a while now, but his recent releases on Deadbeats have truly been something else. It started with his remix of “One by One” by GG Magree, and now he’s back again with his debut original on the label, “Fading” with Melanie?.
Keeping with that dirty electro sound he’s been hanging onto lately, “Fading” plays with that staccato house vibe perfectly. Melanie’s vocals are chopped and looped to perfection to fit with the rhythm, all while the dirty synths and breaks keep the vibes pumping through your speakers. It’s a wonderful blend of classic, vocal-anthem vibes and modern proclivities toward a dirtier, darker, midtempo sound.
