It seems everyone has been touched by Avicii’s music… even Sweden’s Prime Minister.
As an outpouring of every kind of emotion spills out of the EDM community, we’re learning that many other types of artists and public figures were impacted by his work. The news of his death hit hard for Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, who speaks up about the passing of this legend in a statement.
Describing Avicii as one of the country’s greatest musicians, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven addresses his people and sends warm wishes to the producer’s closest family and friends: 
I have been reached by the sad news that Tim Bergling better known as Avicii, has passed away. He was one of Sweden’s largest musicians in modern time. I think of his closest, family and friends.
The Prime Minister has made it apparent Avicii will be greatly missed by the people of his homeland. Just look at what Stockholm, Sweden looked like yesterday (video here).
