Calvin Harris recently made his return to traditional EDM with “One Kiss.” The Dua Lipa collaboration found Harris playing to his mainstage strengths after experimenting with hip-hop and R&B on his last album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.
We didn’t expect new material from him so soon, but it looks like Harris is prepping the release of more music after all. His next release will be a remix of Halsey‘s recent single “Alone,” notably the version featuring British rapper Stefflon Don. The remix releases in full on Friday, and judging by the preview, we can expect more club-ready EDM from Harris. It’s interesting to note that he will not remix the version of “Alone” featuring Big Sean. A bit odd since Harris has worked with Big Sean in the past, but we’re still excited to hear Harris remix “Alone” for EDM fans.
