Time flies when we’re getting lucky! Let the nostalgia waft over you as you hit play on one of Daft Punk‘s latest and greatest hits from five years ago — “Get Lucky!”
It’s hard to believe it’s been half a decade since this hit was born. Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers joined forces with dance music legends Daft Punk to create one of the songs of our generation. Back in 2013, you couldn’t go to any party, or any music festival, or tune into the radio without hearing the track played out.
We’re coming up on the anniversary of Daft Punk’s famous album Random Access Memories, which will also turn five this year. No other track took off quite like this one did, but the entire album is always worth another listen. Especially considering there’s no new music from Daft Punk on the horizon. 
“Get Lucky” is all about the stars aligning, and getting lucky with that special someone. We have to imagine there’s a lot of history behind this song for a lot of you out there. Maybe even some other birthdays happening because of this very lucky anthem?! So, enjoy!
