Marshmello and Anne-Marie are just “Friends,” but they’re also great collaborators!
Their electonic-infused pop track stounds totally different as it’s played out acoustically. In a stripped down performance, the two do just that — delivering their new single like we’ve never heard before.
It’s cool to see another side of the DJ/producer. He trades in all his crazy production for a simple, black backdrop for this one. Picking up a guitar, Mello proves he’s more than just a pretty face and a button pusher. Honestly, watching him strum away — it looks a little weird at first — but you’ll get used to it. 
With this, Marshmello and Anne-Marie dub their single the “Official Friendzone Anthem” and we have to agree. If anyone has to spell all this out to you, you’re most definitely just “Friends.”
