First, you make it as an artist. Then, you get your own documentary. That seems to be the trend now with top-tier DJs including Martin Garrix, Above & Beyond, Avicii, and more. Now, Flume has announced his very own documentary film, When Everything Was New.
The exciting double-header announcement also reveals Sleepless: The Story Of Future Classic. Flume’s career blossomed as part of the Australian independent record label, so it only makes sense these films would come hand-in-hand.
Interestingly enough, the new doc takes on the same name of one of his releases of the same title, “When Everything Was New.” The stunning track from his Grammy-award winning album Skin must hold a special significance to the producer.
Perhaps the best part is we don’t have to wait long to see Flume’s personal journey or the story of Future Classic unfold. The two documentaries are set to premiere April 20, exclusively on Apple Music.
We can’t wait to watch!
