The latest from Getter will surprise the hell out of you.
It’s not one of those — grab the rail and head bang for your life type tracks. Instead, the producer is getting in touch with his softer, melodic side. If you’re ready to let go of what you think a Getter track “should” sound like, then you’re going to absolutely love it.
In the video below, he introduces a “song from the album,” soon to be released with Ruiner. This track is a solid indicator that there is no genre or vibe is off limits with Getter’s new album Visceral. So, remember: don’t get hung up on your perception of what this “should” sound like. Just listen.
Getter has been keeping busy making music for his DJ project, his rap alter ego Terror Reid, and producing for other artists as well. His imprint Shred Collective is the perfect outlet for him to have full creative control and release music whenever he wants. Next up, Visceral is set to be his most instinctual release yet.
“Relating to deep inward feelings rather than to the intellect,” the definition of the word is quite revealing of Getter’s master plan for his next record. He promises it’s coming “soon.”
Sounds like he went with his gut on this one, too! Enjoy this new ID from Getter x Ruiner!
