Lawrence Abbott & Mixmag Turn Your Favorite Album Covers Into Nike Sneakers

martin garrix martin garrix

Admittedly, I’m not much of a sneaker head. I can’t name all of the celebrity colalbs, nor can I name most of the famous styles released by Nike, Adidas, or Reebok. (Is Reebok noteworthy? Was it ever?) But what I can do is recognize an awesome design when I see one, and these mockups from Mixmag’s Lawrence Abbott, combining classic dance music album covers with legendary Nike styles has me wishing for more than one of these.

The mockups feature a number of iconic dance music albums like Justice’s Cross, The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land, Aphex Twin’s Syro, and Daft Punk’s Discovery.

For a full explanation of all the choices between album art and shoe (and yes, there’s a science to the madness), head over to Mixmag here.
