Way back in 2015, we named Ekali as one of our Artists to Watch. This past year, we extended that honor to Medasin on our 2017 list. Now, it’s been confirmed that the two artists have a collaboration coming out together just in time for Coachella and we’re beyond excited.
Ekali recently put out a series of heaters including his collaboration “Babylon” with Denzel Curry and “Blame” with ZHU. Medasin has been touring his Irene project relentlessly and serenading fans across the country. To hear the both of them together on one track is sure to be a special treat.
Ekali announced the release date of the collaboration last week, but it wasn’t until Medasin quoted the tweet yesterday that we knew what was in store. No matter what, we’ll be hearing this finished product on Thursday, April 12. Stay tuned!
