Shambhala Music Festival returns to Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia, Canada this year. The 21st annual edition goes down on August 10-13, 2018. This time around, headliners Claude VonStroke, Feed Me, Destructo, Mr. Carmack, REZZ, Justin Martin, Malaa, Gramatik, Snails and many more will be a part of the incredible experience back home on the farm.
The Glitch Mob, Delta Heavy, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Adventure Club, Boombox Cartel, Buku, Liquid Stranger, Quix, Justin Martin, and Space Jesus are just some of the names that promise one of the most eclectic, all-electronic lineups all festival season long.
SMF packs in a seriously stacked undercard, per usual. Born Dirty, Dr. Fresch, Defunk, Ill.Gates, Stylust, Whipped Cream and so many more will throw down this August. Plus, the man Claude VonStroke will double as Barclay Crenshaw over the weekend and The Glitch Mob will join Ooah & Boreta to make 29 Palms.
Blissful days are matched with raging nights at Shambhala, as hundreds of the best electronic music artists show us what they’ve got over six individually curated stages. Each of which is a headliner in its own right — Pagoda, Village, Fractal Forest, Living Room, Amphitheater, and The Grove. Expect full stage lineups coming as part of an exciting joint announcement over April 9 – 14.
Noticeably missing from this year’s festival is Excision. The heavy hitter, who has played Shambhala every year since 2009, will take on Bass Canyon at The Gorge this year. Headbangers will miss their fearless leader, but make no mistake — there will be no lack of bass at Shambhala with PK Sound.
Shambhala always sells out, so make sure you get tickets while you still can. High-end camping packages are offered in addition to some other accommodation packages for those travelling from afar. Carpool options and additional travel information is available on the Shambhala website.
