It seems Ultra Europe is strongly hinting at another surprise performance from Swedish House Mafia…
Taking a line straight out of Ultra Miami‘s playbook, Ultra Europe says fans can: “Expect the unexpected” when Steve Angello takes the stage this summer. In light of recent events, this sounds like more than just a clever play on words. Ultra Europe could very well be hinting that Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso will join Steve Angello during his headlining set at the premier destination festival.
“Expect the unexpected” was the precise phrasing used by Ultra Miami’s co-founder when teasing the 20th anniversary event. Strangely enough, Steve Angello used those same words in attempts to shut down rumors of a Swedish House Mafia reunion before it happened. 
“If you expect the unexpected it’s not unexpected,” Angello said. “Usually that phrase is used when there’s nothing exciting happening. It’s like you go to the amusement park and the slogan says ‘expect the unexpected’ before you enter the ‘haunted house.'”
We did “expect the unexpected” and still, Swedish House Mafia reunited on stage right before our very eyes. If the EDM supergroup got back together for Ultra’s 20th anniversary, they could easily do it again. And again, and again — please?
In this case we believe “expect the unexpected” means we can expect another Swedish House Mafia performance in 2018. What do you think?
