deadmau5 Reveals Details On Full Orchestral Album, Show & Livestream

The most elaborate live deadmau5 production to date is officially in the works. The producer just shared the exciting news — a new album and a new live show like fans have never heard before is coming soon!

On April 1st, deadmau5 and a full orchestra will perform a selection of the producer’s groundbreaking music live, as re-envisioned by musical director Gregory Reveret. The show will be exclusively livestreamed via TIDAL, but those wishing to attend the once-in-a-lifetime LA event are able to access presale tickets now.

deadmau5 recently recorded a studio album where’s the drop?, set to release on March 30th exclusively through TIDAL via mau5trap. The LP will feature 17 orchestral versions of totally reinvented deadmau5 favorites.

where’s the drop? originally began as a project called 7, a series of songs that deadmau5 produced in 2013 which was based around the Seven Deadly Sins and one that he desired to produce on a full orchestral scale. What started as a dream is finally being brought to life.

The TIDAL presale begins at 9 am PT/12 pm ET today (more info and tickets here).
