The first March Week In Music is in and as anybody else who works closely with artists will tell you – March usually sets the tone for the rest of the year so expect a lot of new music from a wide variety of artists. This week alone we’ve got Headhunterz, Marshmello, NGHTMRE, Fight Facilities, Diplo, What So Not and more.
Release Spotlight
Remix Watch: We got two high profile remixes this week. Firstly, The Glitch Mod dropped what we’re hoping is the first single in the upcoming Illenium remix EP while NGHTMRE took on ZHU and Ekali’s collaboration “Blame.” Beyond that, we have a few more fun ones to check out from across the board.
Marshmello teamed up with superstar rapper Logic for new single “Everyday” that feels exactly what a Logic and Marshmello song would sound like, if that makes sense. It’s already crossed 1.5 million streams and will likely be another huge hit for EDM’s masked man.
Flight Facilities have been slowly gearing up for a touring release after radio silence in releases for years. In the last few months, they’ve put out three brilliant new singles and this week’s cut “Need You” is no different.
Diplo inches closer to dropping his EP with a new collaboration from Lil Yachty and Santigold “Worry No More.” Judging by the quality of features so far, we can probably expect some big names on California which drops next week.
Finally, Headhunterz snags the cover with an epic album The Return of Headhunterz which features the producer staying true to his EDM hard-style and more traditional big-room roots – check it out!
