As promised, Virtual Self has just dropped the official music video to one of the songs off his Virtual Self EP, “Ghost Voices.” Following along with the Virtual Self aesthetic, the video features plenty of technology, most of it looking quite outdated by today’s standards. Plenty of glitch effects and warped digital elements are super-imposed on the video, as well.
Virtual Self’s dual “avatars,” technic_angel and Pathselector, also make appearances in the video.
Previous music videos for “Eon Break” and “Particle Arts” have generally just been storied animations; “Ghost Voices” is the first to really go more in depth into the Virtual Self ethos and explore some of its darker corners.
