Months after its release, Selena Gomez & Marshmello’s “Wolves” has finally received its share of official remixes, and the names are pretty phenomenal. Featuring new cuts from the likes of Rusko, Said The Sky, MOTi, Total Ape and others, the breakout pop hit is sounding more like the EDM version we wished it would have been.
Starting off with Total Ape, the duo gives “Wolves” an immediate facelift with a much more anthemic, synth-based drop than the original. Said The Sky’s take on the track is predictably more melodic and, coupled with the acoustic guitar present throughout, gives it a more grounded feel.
Rusko’s remix for “Wolves” marks his second release since beating cancer. The remix starts in true UK flavor with a delectable piano riff coupled with some claps and subtle percussion, leading to an unexpected two-step/garage drop that is positively dripping with flavor. Choosing to move away from dubstep for his remix was a bold choice, but one that definitely paid off.
Remaining remixes from MOTi, Sneek, and Owen Norton keep the variety up and the music pulsing. Check out all the remixes below.
