Your EDM Premiere: Gamper & Dadoni – Island In The Sun (feat. Conor Byrne)

Gamper & Dadoni continue to solidify themselves as major players and trendsetters with the melodic house scene with the latest release, ‘Island In the Sun’. This latest release features the uplifting and building vocals of Conor Byrne, smooth melodic percussion and a signature G&D sax infused climax. This is the perfect jam to take you away from all life’s stresses and enjoy some quality melodic house.

We had a quick talk and catch up with Gamper & Dadoni upon dropping this summer inspired release to discuss their future plans and the creative process behind, ‘Island in the Sun’.

What’s the inspiration to this new track?

The message of the song is about finding your inner balance. Whether you are stressed by your job or unhappy, step back and remember what really matters in life. We are doing what we love but sometimes even we forget to take our “quality time”. That`’s what the song is about an inspired us to write this lyrics.

How does this single differ from other Gamper & Dadoni singles?
When we started our project back in 2013, we produced exactly the music that we wanted to produce. After our first few successful uploads, we started to experiment more and more. That’s a natural development in our opinion. Not only have we played around with new sounds, we also learned a lot technically over time. Becoming a successful music producer is a long process. Now we are at a point were we can profit from our technical development and combine it with the sounds that people know us for. This single is actually a mixture between our old school sounds and technical development which occurs over time.
Is this single a sign of the future direction for g&d in 2018?
Yes, it is. We love this music style and will at least keep most of the sounds for our upcoming releases. This is 100 % us.
How was the experience working with Conor Byrne?
We discovered Conor through Soundcloud. He did an amazing job on the vocals. His voice is the perfect addition to the instruments and percussions.
What can Gamper & Dadoni fans expect for the rest of 2018?
We are planning to release about 4-5 singles this year. We will focus on “our” sounds and hope that our fans and anyone that listens to our songs will love what they hear.
