Jaden Smith’s debut album Syre made waves when it dropped last Novemeber, including the track “Icon.” The track has nearly 100 million streams between Spotify and YouTube, and is definitely one of our favorite lyrical performances from Jaden on the album.
Now, Crankdat has gotten his hands on the track and given us a classic re-crank worthy of sound systems everywhere. And certainly after Crankdat’s last two singles, we’ve been craving his classic harder sound. Thankfully, his remix of “Icon” satisfies those cravings and then some, starting off with a wild trap drop (the synths of which you’re familiar with if you’ve been watching his Instagram stories) and finishing off with something truly spectacular.
