The new Snapchat update sucks so badly that people are clinging onto any sort of hope that things might go back to the way they were before…
One user uploaded an image in which Snapchat appears to ask for 50,000 RTs as it seriously considers going back to the old format. Although the dm conversation below has since been proven to be fake, that hasn’t stopped it from completely blowing up in the process.
“As far as retweets go, how does 50,000 sound?” 
That 50,000 mark was no problem. Since the OG tweet was first shared on February 8, 2018, it has been retweeted nearly 1.5 million times! Not only does that fulfill Snapchat’s fake request x30, it makes the tweet below one of the most retweeted posts ever on Twitter.
This desperate plea to get the old Snapchat back is right up there with the words and selfies of Barack Obama, Louis Tomlinson, The Ellen Show, and the legend Carter Wilkerson who has acquired 3.6 million retweets, campaigning for a year’s worth of free chicken nuggets.
