Alison Wonderland recently announced her new album Awake and we’re happy to say that the roll-out is well on its way with single “Church” dropping today. Of course, her recent mega-hit “Happy Place” will make the cut but we’re glad to hear that more unreleased Alison is on its way.
“Church” stands out to us for its infectiously catchy hook and euphoric vocals and of course – banging drop. Alison Wonderland describes the single as about ‘self-worth’ and ‘toxic relationships.’
“I was around people that weren’t good for me; toxic people who were not treating me well, borderline emotionally abusive and it brought me down to feeling quite weak. This was the song that triggered me to get out of it.”
