Yes, I’m afraid it’s true… the weekend is over. But that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Everyone has their own methods of coping with the beginning of the week malaise – for me, it’s getting sent tons of new music, including this new cut from CRVE U, remixing “Green” by DENM.
If you’re a fan of Dropout, you’ve heard this style before; punchy drums and distorted guitar riffs play atop raspy vocals and a catchy beat. Broken down into such simple terms, it doesn’t sound all that impressive, but the magic of the music is in how it flows through you and the melody and rhythms, and in that regard, CRVE U definitely impresses.
CRVE U is the relatively new project from 17-year-old Boston-native Jared Rapoza, and you can bet we’re going to be keeping our eyes on him in 2018. Check out his remix of “Green” below.
