New: The Chainsmokers, Cashmere Cat x Major Lazer, Above & Beyond + More – Your EDM | Week In Music

It may be the third week of January, but the onslaught of new music has begun. With new tracks from old favorites to releases plucked from new albums, this edition of Your EDM’s Week in Music packs a punch.

Release Spotlight

The Chainsmokers release their first new single since their debut album Memories…Do Not Open nearly a year ago. Titled “Sick Boy,” the single contains a new, evolved version of the classic Chainsmokers sound.

Cashmere Cat unveils the surprising collaboration “Miss You” with Major Lazer and hip-hop star Tory Lanez. Surprisingly, the track juggles each artist very well.

Carnage links up with rising rapper Lil Pump for “i Shyne.” It’s just what you’d expect.

ZHU tries his hand at remixing tech house with the remix of “Cola” by CamelPhat and Elderbrook to great effect.

Finally, Above & Beyond release the next single for their upcoming album Common Ground, which comes out next week. This single reunites the trio with vocalist ZoĂ« Johnston of “Good For Me” and “Alchemy” fame.
